Remi, Floriane, and Margot went to a local pub this night, but instead I chose nature. The farm is only a 10 minute walk from the ocean and I want to soak this place up while I still can! I seem to be having more and more experiences where wildlife is drawn to me, and part of it I think is because my awareness is more connected to nature as a whole.
The walk down to the water was full of exotic birds, and I was again blown away by the scenery. At this point I don’t think I’m on planet earth anymore. Within 5 minutes walking along the water a seal stuck his head out not even 30 feet away, to say hi. And then I saw another seal in the distance. I was taking some pictures and noticed a lady behind me picking up some trash. We started talking and she told me all about the history of the Islands that we were across from. Marianne from Germany. What a lovely person. I learned that one of the Islands is Inishturk, and my mind was transported to the moment when I was looking at a farm on Inishturk before I left to London. I had been imagining it and it was one of the first places I wanted to go, and what do you know, without even being aware of it, I was now right across from it! I’ve had countless experiences like that and know that the more you vividly imagine something the more you draw it closer. She also told me about the nearby National Park and a hike called The Diamond Hill, part of it was visible from where we were standing. Excited about hitting that up next weekend!
Little seal friend saying what's up.
Check out Inishbofin. It's a crocodile!
From where I was standing I could see Inishbofin, Inishturk, The Clare Islands, and more lands that I don’t know of.
After the nice conversation with Marianne I continued on walking to small patches of land right on the water. I had the place to myself. Absorbed in the moment with my camera, I looked to my right and the two seals had followed me! I was about to jump in and take a ride, who knows maybe they would have taken me to some underwater Atlantis. And then…. 1, 2, 3, 4 more seals pop out at varying distances looking right at me. Whaaat!! That was something else. To see if they wanted to play I walked along the shore and they followed close behind. Ha! So cool. More time spent soaking up the moment, and I turn around and two lone clouds seem to have appeared from nowhere. If I would have had a professional gymnastics trampoline I guarantee I could have bounced into one. I began to head back, not paying attention, and I realize the clouds have moved with me. I burst into laughter, like hahah what in the world is going on! At that time it felt like I was somewhere in between reality and a mysterious lucid dream. The two clouds followed me all the way back to the farm, and I took pictures to confirm I wasn’t just imagining this craziness. That was just a bizarre ending to the night.
