Villa Romana del Casale

Ancient bath/steam room.

Me and Mattias spent a day in the Villa Romana del Casale, where they have 2000 year old Mosaics. That was so rad imagining ancient people being right there placing tiny pieces of stone to create detailed art and geometric patterns.

Five minutes after we left we hitched a ride into Piazza Armerina, journeyed around for a bit, and then hitched a ride back to the dirt road that leads to Vittorio's. Hitch hiking is as easy as pie in Sicily.
